Marie's Hot Chow Chow
A hot version of our Chow-Chow made with Carolina Reaper Peppers grown on our farm. Our Hot Chow Chow is an old family recipe from the eastern shore of southern Maryland. It has a crispness to it, that goes well on pork sandwiches, black eyed peas or right out of the jar!

This is the spicy version of the our standard Chow Chow with a nice kick of homegrown Carolina Reaper pepper powder. Chow Chow is a North American pickled relish made from a combination of vegetables. Unlike most Chow Chows, our Chow Chow is bell pepper based, not cabbage based, and has a crispness to it and is a little sweeter due to our farm grown bell peppers that go from vine to jar. It combines the best part of most southern recipes, cabbage, and the northern mix of peppers, onions and spices. Chow Chow is delicious on meats, eggs, beans, and as a stand alone salsa or kimchi.
